Moai Ring

On the island of Rapa Nui (also known as Isla Pascua), you will find these imposing and magical sculptures with a humanoid shape. It’s not known with certainty why they are there or what they meant, however, there are some theories. Some believe that they are the representation of the deceased ancestors, in fact in the local language they are known as “living faces of the ancestors.” Aside from that, these mysterious giants have stood for untold millennia, perhaps serving some as yet unknown purpose.
